Windows PortsUpdated 29-Mar-2009: New version which fixes a problem when using input / output to the standard console. pbzip2 1.0.5 (by Jeff Gilchrist): windows port. A bzip2 functional clone, which achieves near linear speed-up on multicore machines. Win32-Binaries and Source code (you'll need Bloodshed Dev-C++ to compile it). [forum] pigz 2.1.4 (by Mark Adler): windows port. PIGZ stands for parallel implementation of gzip. It is a fully functional replacement for gzip that exploits multiple processors and multiple cores to the hilt when compressing data.
