To set up a LilyEditor Environment follow these four steps:

• ♦ LILYPOND :  Download and install Lilypond if you haven't done it yet. To make the installation of LilyEditor easier, stick up to the default folder c:\program files\Lilypond
• for 1.2.0.0:  Copy C:\Program Files\LilyPond\usr\bin\lilypond.exe to C:\Program Files\LilyPond\usr\bin\lilypond-console.exe (this issue is fixed in 1.2.0.1)
• ♦ .NET 3.5 : Download and install the .Net Framework Version 3.5
  
• ♦ LILYEDITOR : Unzip the last version of LilyEditor to a folder of your choose in your harddisk. You may want to create a shortcut to the LilyEditor.exe file in your desktop or start menu to access the editor faster.
• ♦ SumatraPDF: Unzip the modified version of SumatraPDF to the same folder where you unzipped LilyEditor.
  
• ♦ OPTIONAL: Open the file LilyEditor.exe.config in the folder you just extracted and configure the Lilypond path (if you didn't install Lilypond to the default location) and the default foot text for the engraved scores.
